Grandparents Rule the World

Happy Grandparents Day!

Yes, that day celebrated in the U.S.A. & Canada has made its way over here, to the U.K.!

I first found out about this on Friday while watching The Paul O'Grady Show, but then I forgot until I turned on the T.V. this morning and it was being talked about on the BBC News Channel.

After lunch I phoned up Mamgu, and we had a nice little chat, and then I phoned up Nana & Grandad, and they weren't feeling too good. And I am not going to discuss that any further so they can have some privacy.

Anyway, that's about it for this post, seeing as it's the weekend and nothing much happens to me then.

Until the next time!

Nothing and Stuff

Nothing much has happened recently. So this post will basically be about minor things that happened to me this week.

In English on Tuesday, miss showed us this thing on the internet. It's a timer that plays soundtracks and counts down how long is left. So on Tuesday she made Liam & I hand out the books (we're currently reading Roll Of Thunder, Hear My Cry) to The A Team. Liam took, like, half a pile, and speedily handed them out while I took the rest and started rushing around with them. Liam started to give them to the same people I had already given them to so I had to collect a couple back up and then they fell everywhere, mainly over Ellie! We finished the task with twenty seconds left on the clock though. No-one could stop laughing at me "with a million books". I love English.

None of the other subjects have been that eventful.

It has stunk outside a lot this week. And it covered the whole suburb I live in. It was horrible :(

It was inset day today, and it has been a fantastic chance to have an extra day of rest, if you take into account the weekend so I can say extra.

We've got the internet on the laptop updated to I.E.7, which I'm used to seeing as that's what we use at school and Claire has it. But Dad hates it so we'll still have I.E.6 on the "main" computer.

Elsewhere, I now officially hate Facebook. I hate the "new" layout anyway, and that in its vulgar self has deterred me from using the site, but what makes the site worse is the fact that it either says, "We are doing maintenance on your account," so I can't log in or I can log in, but the homepage is the only page that I'm allowed to visit. I just use Bebo now, and that I detest, but at least my profile is all on one page.

Seeing as it's now Autumn, Dad is insisting on having the lights on. I hate our lights. They can only produce horrid, unnatural beams. Also, if he wants to save money, he should be doing what I have been doing all my life, don't turn the lights on when you have the T.V. on. The T.V. produces enough light, and sometimes lighting in whatever room you are watching something in can really ruin programmes such as Heroes.

To add to any frustration I may have at this precise moment, I saw my first Christmas advert of the year earlier. It was for Disneyland Paris, which I went to when I was 3, back in 1998. I can't remember much about that holiday, but I can remember that year quite well. Anyway, it's bloody October, not December! Nor is it November, when it seems they'll be celebrating.

So, that might be it, unless I've forgotten something. Which I probably have, but never mind.

Until the next time, damn this keyboard for not working properly!

And Then I Forgot...

Well, I didn't really.

I've had a homework over-load since I went back to school, and I haven't had much time to go on Blogger. But I'm still not giving up on this. I must be mad!

Anyway, nothing much has happened. School has been average, and I don't really want to talk about the boring place much anyway.

Facebook is annoying me now. They've changed everyone onto the new version, which doesn't work for me. It keeps crashing, and when it is working, it is terrible.

Profiles are on multiple pages. They've dictated how to organise your profile. And the mini-feed has been muddled up with the wall. Who's thick head decided that?!

I'm tired so I had better stop typing this now. It's 20:19 here at the moment (12:19 Arizona time), and I still have a couple of hours before I go to bed. I mentioned Arizona because that's where this random guy who I'm quite similar to lives (well, at least I think he does). I would like to thank him, and "Blogger Woman" for following this blog. It's good to know it has fans.

Until the next time.

Why Won't Tomorrow just DIE?!

If you haven't already guessed by the title, I'm going back to school tomorrow.

I'll be starting year 9, a year of many things. However, I will not cover them now. I will cover them over the coming months, up until July to be precise.

Although I will share with you little things now, as this is the time to cover them.

In the last week of year 8, I finally decided to leave the friendship circle I was in. For good. I'm now hanging around with Nicole, Jess & the others, but I just don't feel I fit in well there. It's probably too early to tell, but usually the instincts are there.

Anyway, away from my very bad personal life and onto more dreaded things.

I have to get back into the habit of packing my bag.

All I'll need to pack tonight is my pencil case, and my empty folder, although I will take my Spanish book I was given at the end of last year and never used because it was the last fortnight of term so I wrote year 9 on it just in case we have Spanish tomorrow. Gosh, you'll need a deep breath after that sentence!

So that's about it. Except from having to wear that clingy uniform again :(

Until tomorrow,
Bye!

The Same Old Thing

Yes, I know. It really shouldn't have happened again.

The truth is, something came up in life (which I will not discuss here for privacy) and then I have been away for quite a bit. But don't worry. I will try to do something decent and not stop blogging every now and again. I did say try.

Anyway, it was Smudgie's birthday two days ago. He turned four. Check out Animalz to find out more (although I have not posted it yet at the time of posting this).

So that's about it. Except from I really don't want to go back to school on Wednesday.

Random Rave

Ooh, how random!

Anyway, things totally different to each other have been going on today (and also a bit yesterday).

To start off we're watching a film in Spanish. It's Goal. Yesterday, Bryony changed the subtitles to Swedish =P. And today, we learnt the sh word with the subtitles. I now know it in English, Welsh & Spanish!

Sportsday was cancelled again today. I don't mind; I'm only doing the drinks for the staff. I'd never take part; it was a nightmare having to do it every year back in Primary (two years ago and more).

I was falling asleep in I.C.T. earlier. Although I did make up an idea for a future Spyware script (this is a pretend T.V. series I made up for Mamgu & Claire; I write scripts for them). I am only series one at the moment, but this idea is for series three. This story I made up is quite depressing ): .

In Art, our masks won't be put into the kiln into September, meaning we'll be starting our year nine stuff a few weeks in. We have one lesson left this year and I haven't finished mine yet.

I think that's it. I told you the things were different to each other.

Please comment.
Thank you.

It's Coming

I am annoyed.

But first, the revamp of The Boring Chronicles Of Gaz has neared completion. All I need to do now is post at least once every three days.

Now all I have left to do is T.V. Gaz, and that won't be started on until the weekend (hopefully Saturday).

Anyway, you'll never guess what Mr. Higgs (I don't think I've mentioned him in a previous post, so to inform you he is a supply teacher at school) has done now.

On Tuesday, we had him for Science as Miss Simpson was with the year fives for "Forensic Science Day" (I remember doing that three years ago!). Miss had told us what to do and we all knew. On Tuesday's lesson, we all pretty much got on with it. But because he hates us, he made up lies about us. Miss was mad at us all today, and kept on repeating that it gives her a bad image (very selfish, and anyway, she's leaving next week). Now we have to do a bloody test for our last Science lesson of the year, which happens to be the penultimate lesson of the year.

So basically, I will not enjoy my last day of year eight.

First of all, I will go numb in that half hour long sports assembly, which tries to get us involved in sport (no way José). I'll miss Art because of this (we spend the other half an hour in our tutor rooms with our tutor, as years seven & eight have their assembly together, and so do years nine & ten). Then I'll have P.E. If you know me then you'll know I hate P.E. After break, we have that Science test before History (no matter how "fun" miss tries to make it, it's still boring). At 13:30, our usual lunchtime, we'll then finally go home (hardly a half day; we only miss one lesson).

It's coming.

Revamp

ARGH!!!

It has happened again, hasn't it?

As you may have seen on my other sites (bar T.V. Gaz, in which the link may not work for much longer (tell no-one)), I am having a revamp of them all. The lists go like this:

Priority:

  1. Animalz
  2. Gaz & Alice's Music Store
  3. The Boring Chronicles Of Gaz
  4. T.V. Gaz

Quantity:

  1. T.V. Gaz
  2. Gaz & Alice's Music Store
  3. Animalz
  4. The Boring Chronicles Of Gaz

All I am doing on here is trying to post at least two or three times a week (my version of a week is Sunday to Saturday).

I hope you enjoy the revamps.

Eurasian Stuff

More about that title later.

I just want to say that today's been better than the past few. Ryan didn't annoy us, and no-one had a go at me (well, not really, and it was only Megan). Although in Music Hannah T. had a go at me for stupid reasons. One, I said you have genres in music and she said you don't in a stress (told you they were stupid), and two, she complained that, one, I didn't vote for our musical last week when she did, and two, the winners all voted for their own musical. It cancels herself out!

Anyway, the European part of the title.

The Eurovision semifinal was great yesterday. I now know how these semifinal scoring systems are working this year. Check out Gaz & Alice's Music Store on Friday for the results from both semifinals. Although I will tell you that I was pleased that Azerbaijan, Norway, Armenia, Finland & Greece all got through to the final. I was disappointed that Estonia, Slovenia, Ireland & Holland didn't. Still, most of the ones that I wanted to get through did. And we are allowed to vote tomorrow (we weren't yesterday as the rules have changed)! I probably won't though.

The Asian part of the title is coming up!

We had a non-school uniform day today to raise money for Chinese aid. I am deeply saddened by the news. Although it was good to hear of the nine year old boy who got himself out of his destroyed school, and then went back in to rescue two of his friends. Well done to him!

Low

Well, I couldn't use "Down" again, could I?

Not a good day at all. This title is quite appropriate for a couple of reasons. One, it's how I feel, and two, I had the annoying song of the same name stuck in my head today.

I did feel like leaving my food at home today, but I decided not to. I now wish I did.

Ryan goes and knocks it out of my hands. I hardly eat anything anyway! His excuse was, "I brought no food to school today." Pathetic.

Talking of pathetic, Hannah T. stormed out of C.S.P. for no reason again today. Thank goodness we replaced her with Kayleigh F. in our group. Also Corey (E.T.) proved even more that he can't hear. We were rehearsing our tutor group assembly in C.S.P. and he said he couldn't my group, even though we were right next to him and people on the other side of the lab could hear us.

It is getting better though. I've been happy since I returned home and there's the first Eurovision semifinal later. Plus EastEnders (not that I really watch it) had a funny scene earlier. It had me in hysterics.

And before I publish the post, I want to get low again. Phoebe has been in a mood with me every day for a week. And I don't think it's her periods.

So what if I've been happy (until these last few days, that is)? If this lasts for another month (hopefully it will last much shorter than that), I will be a very annoyed person.

Thank you.

Down

As you can probably tell by the title, I am not in a great mood.

Tom & Ryan are back to their annoying selves. Last week I think it was (it may have been the week before), he chased me. I felt so weasy, and I could hardly breathe. So what did he do? Cut off my air supply!

It was only for about a second, but I couldn't actually talk for at least half an hour after. Then Tom got stuff and whacked them around me head today. It's easy to ignore Ryan, but not Tom.

Oh well. It's Ellie's birthday today. She joins the teenage gang now. YAY!

EEK!

I forgot. I forgot about this site. Although to be honest, I haven't really been active on my sites for the past couple of months.

Anyway, since the last post I've turned a teenager. More about those things another time.

Not so Fun-Dubby-Dosy

School is getting even more boring than usual.

We were all severely depressed in Science after watching a video about the dangers of electricity. It was only acting, we know, but it seemed so real. In the video (note: not a DVD), loads of people died. Most of them you didn't see the bodies, but we did of this six or seven year old who ran onto a sub-station to check on his brother who was killed. He put his hand down on a piece of metal and before we knew it, sparks went everywhere and a burnt body, pitch-black with flames coming off and holes through, thumped onto the ground. We all fell silent.

Then in D.T. some people have made us do theory work in our next lesson, which is tomorrow. But I did hear miss say to Andy that if you're good, you'd be allowed to start practical again, one-by-one.

In C.S.P., Andy saw all the scribbles on the front of his book that we did last lesson and spoiled the fun. He got another piece of paper and put it over the cover. Then, Luke denied what he did. He said that I was advertising it to everyone, when in truth, he saw it so I told the no-friends idiot about it and he told everyone about it which led to Nush ruining it. Annoying. At least Kayleigh F. & I admitted our part!

I was going to do the "On the Box" post yesterday as nothing interesting occurred, but I was so busy I didn't have time. Sorry.

It's Mumsy Day

For any Mothers who are reading this blog, Happy Mother's Day!

This year I gave Mum a handmade card. It has "Happy Mother's Day" written in a spiral around a tissue paper flower that I made using a Blue Peter design. Mum liked it, and that's the main thing, even though it's sort of scruffy and I only made it yesterday.

I cooked my own tea tonight. It was only a boiled egg, but I haven't cooked since December 2006. Precise, I know. It was nice, if I do say so myself.

Dydd gwyl dewi hapus i bawb!

For those readers who don't speak Welsh, the titles means: Happy St. David's Day!

I've got my leek on and I decided to put my Wales rugby shirt on today because it's Welsh (duh) and I had a Welsh flag until Mum told me to take it off before I poked it into my eye (it's on a stick).

For tea we've got spag bol, not cawl cenin. I mean, all you need is a leek and some potatoes!

If I'd been more active today, I would definitely have a spring in my step. I always do on March 1. March is my favourite month. It is warm, we have St. David's Day and my birthday, it's Spring (my favourite season), some animal species start to have young, and there's no hay fever.

You may notice the time at the bottom is different. This is because I am posting earlier. There's too much T.V. on tonight!

First of all, I'll be watching Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway. Then, I will hopefully be able to watch the first part of Eurovision: Your Decision on BBC iPlayer. After that I can have a cuddle with Smudgie before watching part two of Eurovision: Your Decision.

It has been a perfect day.

Living for the Weekend (and the Extra Day)

Living For The Weekend redirects here. For the song by HARD-Fi, please visit here.

Think about it. What day was it one year ago? What day will it be in one year's time?

These are just some of the questions about today. Being born in the year I was, I couldn't be born on February 29. But I know someone in year 11 who is celebrating their fourth birthday today.

Today is my fourth February 29. Both Hannah M. & Kayleigh F. proposed to me today, but I knew they were only joking. My Science teacher said she proposed to her fiance today and he replied, "We're already engaged, duh!"

Today hasn't been the best of days. Keiran Burton in year 10 pushed me into the wall. I'm very light and it didn't hurt at all. He is a male bitch that thinks he's hard but we all know the truth; he's not.

But today, has not been eventful at all.

We Just Wanna Have Fun

Life is certainly great at the moment!

First of all, some details about the power cut that I missed out yesterday. The power came back on at around ten. Although while the power was out, the sky looked so pretty.

Another thing I missed out yesterday was the D.T. lesson. However, I'm glad I did because I can mention fun things in this entry!

So, we all felt lazy and took out stools. Meanwhile, Andy was hammering down something so we all decided to get whatever we could and start synchronised bashing. We also just wasted the masking tape by ripping pieces off, writing things on them and sticking them to our jumpers.

Back to today, or rather, let's talk about today, because I haven't talked about it yet. And I've been reading too much Lemony Snicket.

In Science we were reminding ourselves about currents (which we did in year 7) and when we used the circuit boards our table just randomly placed wire blocks anywhere and everywhere, which annoyed Hannah T.

At lunch we had to do random things again seeing as Phoebe is still in Norway (meaning we have no-one to start conversations). James keeps on saying she's being raped by a Norwegian kid, a joke that we made as soon as we heard she was going. Anyway, Ellie decided to make us do synchronised clapping, slowly at first, then quicker as we progressed. As usual, when we stopped, we all asked, "Why are we clapping?"

In Maths, still feeling hyper after lunch, which is never a good mix, Sir couldn't be bothered to go up to the computer (is it so hard for him to walk from the front to the back of the classroom?) so he used the bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Not very funny at all, but the smart board could also pick up the phone bluetooths. Some didn't have weird names such as:

Brammer :]
M ii s s A d e e ~ x

But some did such as

I like boys
ILoveHarry<3

We worked out who the Harry one was. Chelsea. Who was in the classroom next door. Now the whole world knows.

Blackout

The past twenty four hours have certainly been interesting.

At quarter to nine last night, we had a power cut. This side of the loop (there is a loop going from my school to TESCO then back round) was affected. Everywhere else only the lights flickered. When I had a shower (by candlelight) I was hoping to wash my hair, but I couldn't. This is because the shower was very weak. We have a power shower and needs electricity to work properly. I wouldn't be able to wash out the shampoo. There was also the fact that the hairdryer wouldn't work. Just as I was getting dressed, the power came back on. Typical!

Oh, and that earthquake. I slept right through it XD. A few years back, while at Centerparcs, I set the alarm on the telly to half six in the morning and it went on at full volume and I didn't even stir!

Anyway, today James crazily planned to organise a wedding for Tom & Ellie. Ellie didn't want to go through with it, so we made Tom & Ryan have a civil ceremony instead! Although we all objected and they ran away on their honeymoon, which was to buy milk! Although we all know the truth ;)

Norwegian Yawns

So, we went back to school today D=. As I expected it would be, it was boring. Shannon skived Music so I have to wait another lesson to perform our assessment. Fortunately, that lesson is tomorrow, so if she's not there, I won't forget what I have to do.

Let's skip the other lessons and go straight to the end of the day. In English, we started reading Holes. From the first three (very short) chapters, the blurb and the front cover, it looks okay. It doesn't look rubbish, but it does look like it could get boring.

Phoebe is still in Norway, and you can evidently tell she wasn't at school today because the gulls didn't fly over us! We need to tell her that when she gets back.

So, the year is getting better, even though we have school.

Thank you.

Where Have I Been?

I am so sorry. I've been really busy (doing nothing because it's half term =D). Nothing much has happened. But I've had a good time. Anyway, Mr. Hockaday thought it would be a great idea to give us a Geography assessment over half term. We do have lives! So I need to get on with that because we got it on the day we broke up and it's due in tomorrow. I really need to finish it.

So, good-bye for now. I'll post soon (including a needed "On The Box" post) if I don't get tied up with homework.

Bye!

Catch Up

I'm sorry I haven't posted since Tuesday; things have come up, but I can tell you all about them now (:.

On Wednesday I had nothing for lunch. I was in a starving mood again. We were let out early after having a fire alarm, so all was good. Thank goodness Mum bumped into me on the way home. I could have a lift instead of walking. I felt like I was about to faint!

Thursday was great to start off with. I missed half of my lessons due to being chosen to have my say on who should be the head of the new Futures Department. We chose Mrs. Wells fist, then Mr. Hockaday then Mr. Burchall and in last place, Miss Wiltshire. We came in late to English, and there was a large group of the chosen people who are in the same English class as me. We had another writing test, the shorter one, and if Jess was correct, I wrote more than Jacob (the library kid) did on the longer task.

However, that evening I got upset and annoyed by this kid on my good friend Mark's cbox. He was taking the cheese out of my family, friends & me. And he blamed it all on me! I ignored him, but I was crying that night.

Friday was average, and I didn't get caught not having done my Art homework ;).

Food & Feelings

Today has been another mixed day, like most of the others are. To start off, everyone was annoying me in P.E. I had to open the ball bag at the end so everyone though it would be a great idea to chuck the footballs at me. And it didn't half hurt! Then they said it was only mud. Well, I was the one whose boots have crap laces that don't tie together properly and whack mud all over the back of my legs, but you're the ones moaning about the mud! Then people, and I don't know who, started to spread lies about me around school. Again.

So at break time, I took the decision to starve myself. Truth be told, I wasn't hungry. I'd had a large (well, for me anyway) breakky. I wasn't that hungry at lunch, but I decided to eat.

Anyway, I've just scoffed myself with pancakes that I made (but Mum tried to take the credit). I am now hyper =D but I feel sick D=.

So, a day of food. It is pancake day after all. But otherwise, not good. To top it all off, Ryan took the cheese out of my hair. He first called me mop-head, which was fine by me; I just said he was jealous. But then he said I had grey hair, last said by Aaron Ridgeway in year 6 while he was bullying me. I don't. Look at my profile picture (if you don't mind looking at ugly faces, that is) and you can plainly see I don't have grey hair!

So my message to all the annoying ones, I do have feelings, you know.

Thank you.

Mix it, Kiddies!

Well, today has certainly been mixed. But first, let's go back to yesterday...

Yesterday's episode of Wild At Heart, the only decent ITV drama, was quite confusing. It was probably the worst episode of it. EVER.

Back to today, and school. No-one seemed to talk about the rugby (I wonder why ;)), except from the odd several. At break, Ellie got out some pens and started drawing on everyone's hands. Here's what she drew on mine:

It's an apple and a sun! WOW! It's amazing!
Everything was fine until lunch, until I received a load of gull mess all over my coat. People were annoying me about it, so to shut them up, I went to wipe it on them. ;) again.
We then had a writing test in English, but I think I did quite well, if Miss can read it.
Our tutor said she would be back in registration for today, but she wasn't. :S
Today's episode of M.I.High was not the best, but better than last weeks.
That the recent update from The Boring Chronicles Of Gaz. I hope you enjoyed it.

We Win

Earlier I caught the last ten minutes of the Wales V. England rugby match. Now, I'm not a sports fan, but I was glad to see Wales win. I have a Wales rugby shirt, which I haven't worn since they played South Africa in November. I did own a rugby blog once, but I closed it after going off sport. But it's always good to see Wales win in the rugby, especially if it's against England. I can tease everyone at school now =D.

Talking about beating bad things, Smudgie, my pet rabbit, has an eye infection. But we're treating it and it's getting better.

Back to sport, I have proof P.E. is bad for you. I lost a couple of layers of skin on Thursday. Damn you football!

On the subject of winning & school, I have finally found out how to chop wood. I can't believe I didn't know how to!
